Personal data – active opt-in
At HomesHub, ensuring compliance with all relevant Data Protection regulations is of the utmost importance. That’s why, in line with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), all forms on the HomesHub website which requires users to input their personal information has an active opt-in.
This means that, instead of relying on a tick box to say you don’t want to receive ongoing communications from us, HomesHub operates an active opt-in policy, which means that you’ve got to actively tick a box when submitting an online form to you give us your express permission to contact you with marketing materials and further updates from HomesHub.
You can still submit an enquiry without actively opted in – this just means that Building Relations will use your information for its intended purpose, and your information will be permanently deleted once the enquiry has been actioned (unless you at that point give us your explicit permission to retain your information).
Please note: under the Data Protection Act, you have the right to withdraw your permission at any time (even if you have actively opted in), at which point we will delete any information we hold on you.
