Demand for equity loans through MyChoice HomeBuy and Own Home has been particularly strong and the funding available for 2009/10 has now all been allocated.

This means that some people who have been assessed as eligible for assistance through My Choice HomeBuy and OwnHome will be unable to proceed with a purchase using a equity loan, however, other options exist through which assistance can be made available.

There is no guarantee that waiting until further funding is released will mean that all demand can be met. Purchasers are very strongly advised to pursue other options as outlined above, this financial year.
