Mortgage Rescue

Mortgage Rescue is designed to support vulnerable home-owners who may be facing becoming homeless, due to repossession. The scheme helps eligible persons to remain in their home.

This is a Government scheme running in Merseyside funded by Plus Dane (Merseyside) Housing Association Limited, and the Homes and Communities Agency.

There are two forms of Mortgage Rescue available:

  • Mortgage to Rent
  • Shared Equity

You should apply through your local authority, through the Housing Options Team. They will be able to give you more details.

Once the application process is complete with the local authority, you will be passed onto us as a referral, and we will then carry out a further assessment.
